Emi Vener
One of the original founders of The Athena Alliance CLT, Emi has come onto the local gaming scene to provide opportunities for women to have their voices heard and to provide a safe space for women in and outside of the gaming industry. Residing in Rock Hill, SC, she formed the all women's stream team called the Gaming Goddesses and since 2019 has coordinated public and digital gaming events, charity fundraisers, and held esports events for women, as well as becoming a Women in Games Ambassador for the Southeast USA. She enjoys game nights featuring trivia, RPGs, and UNO. She is an alum of The University of South Carolina Lancaster with an degree in Sciences and has been featured on Fox46 Charlotte, Good Morning Charlotte, LatinxinGaming, CallMeJaneBond, Pikara magazine, and the Triad City Beat for community work in games.
